our mission

Horecagroningen.nl promotes the Groningen hospitality industry in the broadest sense of the word through numerous activities. We do this by connecting website visitors (our guests) with hospitality entrepreneurs by providing information, job vacancies, stories, ordering options, events, and sparkling campaigns. In this way, we introduce everyone to all facets of the hospitality industry from the City & Surroundings in the always bustling Groningen.

What did we achieve in 2022?
– The Groningen hospitality industry promoted in numerous facets.
– The largest provider of hospitality vacancies in the Northern Netherlands.
– Co-organizer of the ‘Job Drinks’.
– Start YouTube video series about the Groningen hospitality industry.
– Organizer of the business hospitality event ‘Horeca Xperience 2022’ in the Martinikerk.
– The big Christmas dinner overview published with ordering option.
– Catchy hospitality blogs, weekly updates, and press releases published.
– Set up social media campaigns to promote the hospitality industry.
– Expertise and partnerships with, among others: Let’s Gro, EZ, VNO-NCW, various hospitality wholesalers, Verduurzaming Groningen, Noorderpoort, SVO Vakopleidingen, Werk In Zicht, UWV, Sociale Dienst Groningen and Make it In The North.
– Many applicants matched with hospitality entrepreneurs.
– Reduced subscriptions offered for hospitality entrepreneurs.
