For over 30 years, De Toeter has been a household name in the city of Groningen. What started as a music café has now grown into a particularly high-quality whiskey and craft beer bar. The cozy layout, the spacious bar, and the decorative brass instruments make De Toeter a pleasant café to thoroughly enjoy yourself.
De Toeter boasts 19 taps, over 200 bottled beers, and more than 350 single malt whiskies. This extensive selection, combined with hospitality and professional service, has led to various accolades. De Toeter has appeared multiple times in the ‘Misset Café Top 100’ and has also won the provincial award. The café is the proud ambassador of Orval and was voted ‘Best Single Malt Whisky Establishment in the Netherlands’ in late 2010. To top it all off, De Toeter is the proud SMWS (The Scotch Malt Whisky Society) ambassador for the Northern Netherlands in the field of whisky.

Activities
We organize two weekly quizzes, on Wednesdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 7:00 PM. They consist of 8 rounds, 6 with general knowledge questions, 1 photo round, and 1 video clip round. Both quizzes are presented in both Dutch and English.
Would you like to organize a pub quiz especially for your company, group of friends, or family? That is possible!
It is also possible to book a whisky or beer tasting with a group, or a smaller tasting or high beer/high whisky for 2 people or more.
