Het Pakhuis opened in 1973 as an artist's café. Today, the building houses a restaurant and a bar. The history of the building is still palpable in the cozy, informal atmosphere, giving the location character. One thing is certain: life is lived in Het Pakhuis! Het Pakhuis is located on Peperstraat in Groningen, a lively entertainment street in the heart of the city center.

Plop down in our eatery and feel right at home. This old warehouse has a relaxed, no-nonsense atmosphere where nothing is required and everything is allowed. Every day we serve three fresh daily specials with a choice of meat, vegetarian, or vegan; you choose whatever you're in the mood for. Prefer something familiar? Then go for one of our classics, such as juicy spare ribs or a creamy cheese fondue.
Bar
Music, dancing, and good times all night long. You are welcome to celebrate life! The bar is open from Thursday to Saturday until the early hours. On these days, our resident DJs spin at Het Pakhuis, all with love. They do their best to make it a great night. Private parties can also be held in the bar.
