Rietland is situated in the middle of the vast nature reserve near Noorddijk, on the outskirts of the city of Groningen. The tranquility the place exudes is reflected in the way things are run at Rietland. We are accustomed to taking our time with a guest. No rushed service, no beeping microwaves. But that does not mean that hard work isn't done. Besides the peace the surroundings offer, hard work from the countryside is also a matter of course. The farmhouse has been completely restored and furnished by the owners themselves, using authentic building materials and the conviction that it is perfectly acceptable to see something of the creators' personalities reflected in the design.
Rietland hosts weddings, parties, meetings, and conferences. Rietland is closed on Sundays.
Our Head of the House is urgently looking for floor supervisors! Rietland organizes weddings, parties, and meetings, among other events. As a supervisor, you will manage the team and ensure that the event runs smoothly. You will provide directions and instructions, handle questions and any complaints from guests, and also assist with the execution yourself. All of this is done in consultation with your head chef. You can do this in your own hospitable way, at a beautiful, peaceful, and green location. Everything is custom-made, which makes the work very varied. Rietland is closed every Sunday but is otherwise open very flexibly every day, so we expect the same from you.

But that doesn't mean we don't work hard. Besides the peace the surroundings offer, hard work in the countryside is also a matter of course. As a service staff member, you will be fully integrated into our team, sometimes in the dining area, sometimes behind the bar, sometimes during a wedding, and sometimes during a meeting.

We cater for weddings, dinners, parties, meetings, and conferences, and everything is custom-made, so no two events are the same.
As a dishwasher, you are responsible for washing and preparing crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and cooking tools, tidying up clean materials, and cleaning the dishwashing area afterwards. Additionally, you may assist in the kitchen and with service. The work is varied and very diverse. We therefore expect you to be flexible but also to be able to work hard. We are always closed on Sundays. Furthermore, we consider it important that you are friendly, independent, and able to work hard.
