Pieter Post: payslip with holiday pay!
Piet Paulusma: the weather is going to be really nice!
Pieter Peit’s Hoeve: delicious Terschelling farmhouse cheese
It is so nice to bring good news; for me, the glass is always half full (and if not, we’ll pour a little more).
Holiday pay, summery days, and a lovely Whitsun weekend ahead. And the biggest surprise comes from Pieter Peit’s Hoeve.
Terschelling used to be home to 200 farmers... now only 15, one of which caught my attention: the Pieter Peits’Hoeve!
At De Pieter Peit’s Hoeve, they produce nine types of cheese, namely natural: chives, nettle, garlic, clove, pepper, cumin, mustard, and fenugreek.
My absolute favorite is the garlic cheese… what a taste experience… and what are we drinking with it: Sauvignon & Viognier from Domaine de Arjolle, France.
The winemaker is happy to bring a sample across the mudflats to the city for tasting—good news!
