Blue or even black teeth after a glass of red wine? So what? My advice is just to keep smiling.
Some people even give up red wine for it... don't do that. Heavier red wines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Tannat, etc.) contain more tannins and affect your teeth.
Don't make me go on into a very technical story... I'd rather enjoy a good glass. I'll brush my teeth in the evening before going to bed (or an extra time in between). A wine that can create that "it doesn't matter" I have black teeth feeling is the Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve from Panul. This wine demonstrates the power of Chile in the current price range. Plenty of red fruit aromas and a soft, round taste thanks to perfectly ripe grapes harvested and fermenting under controlled temperature. The approximately 6 months of aging in new oak barrels imparts the beautifully integrated oak nuance.
Perfect with a barbecue, hearty meat dishes, and for those who “don’t care at all anymore,” a decent aperitif! Keep on smiling…
