What are you worrying about?!

Well, why would you still worry about it? It sounds a bit nonchalant, but I just returned from a 3-week study trip through Indonesia. That does make you shift down a gear: I was forced to. Not forced to go to Indonesia, but by the climate; my Dutch pace just doesn't fit there!

So I switch gears and enjoy and learn a tremendous amount from this country. Back in the Netherlands, it is not spring yet, Easter is cold, and the winter coat is my March friend. With a clear conscience, I turn the heater up to 33 degrees; put on my Indonesia outfit, make a fresh salad with seafood, and treat myself to a glass of "Jas des Lavandes," a 2012 rosé from Provence (France). The "frozen bottle" style and the snowflakes I admire from behind the window give me the ultimate feeling of: ...what are you worrying about? This will be the rosé – rain or shine – of 2013! If it works with snow, it will certainly work with sun! Available to you in 2 weeks.

Characteristic rosé from Provence with a salmon-pink hue and a delicate aroma of small red fruits and light spices. The full, crisp, dry taste lingers long and balanced. Excellent as an aperitif, but also pairs well with fresh salads, bouillabaisse, and other fish dishes. Ready to drink now; keeps well for two to three years after harvest.
