Job description
As a floor manager, you are the operational engine of the business. You maintain an overview, keep calm when it gets busy, and manage the team effectively. You are not someone who watches from the sidelines, but the captain who leads the charge. With your experience and down-to-earth approach, you ensure that service runs flawlessly, the atmosphere remains lively, and guests want for nothing.
What will you do?
- The point of contact on the floor: You actively participate in service, are the point of contact for guests, and put your colleagues at ease.
- Operational management: You distribute tasks, maintain an overview during peak hours, and ensure everyone is in the right place.
- Planning and development: You assist with daily planning and actively contribute ideas regarding the growth and development of the crew.
- Ensuring quality and guidelines: You oversee service quality and guarantee that guidelines such as HACCP are strictly adhered to.
Who are we looking for?
- You have at least 4 years of experience in the hospitality industry, of which at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- You speak Dutch and English.
- A natural leader who leads by example, does not easily get stressed, and is straightforward.
- A doer who knows how to motivate the team and is only satisfied when things are running smoothly.
- Someone with an eye for detail, tight organization, and a proactive attitude.
