It has become known that the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, is interested in the work of Night Mayor Chris Garrit.
The night mayor has been invited to speak at the festival this year. Several delegates from various American cities will be present to possibly introduce the “night mayorship” there as well.
Garrit will moderate a panel at the festival regarding the promotion of night culture. He represents Groningen and will give a presentation on night/culture versus government in the city.
