Groningen Beer Festival launches online with the culinary beer dinner for home

The Beer Dinner of Groningen Beer Festival It is not taking place in the Martinikerk this year due to the coronavirus crisis, but with a beautifully set table at your home, and you become the star chef for one day.!

Join the communal dinner online

The online kick-off is tonight at 7:00 PM, and the idea is for all guests to join the dinner simultaneously for each course using a countdown clock. The top chef will join everyone live at their table, followed by the beer sommelier who will explain the beer pairing. We are aiming for a unique, top-level online culinary beer experience.

The dinner will be prepared using regional products and local beers. For this, Progress Events has joined forces with the following parties:

How does it work?

All participating guests will receive the following in advance:

• Instructions from Noorderpoort College for complete table preparation
• Cooking instructions from top chefs
• Explanation from the beer sommeliers
• A box with 5 courses & 5 matching beers
