Following the success of recent years, at the fourth edition of the Hospitality Fair Northern Netherlands the third North Netherlands Barista Championships held
In collaboration with the main sponsor Frisian flag / Campina and World of Barista This third competition will take place on October 12, during the Horecabeurs Noord Nederland.
During the competition, each participant makes 2 espressos and 2 cappuccinos. The competition is held at a bar provided by NNBK with the following equipment: Nuova Simonelli – Black Eagle Espresso Machine, Nuova Simonelli Mythos One Clima Pro Grinder (2X), and the competition milk is Friesland Campina, consisting of Campina Fresh Whole Milk, Boerenland Organic Milk, or Friesche Vlag Whole UHT Milk.
New this year is the open coffee choice. Every participant has the opportunity to present their own coffee and use it during the competition.
Under the watchful eye of a professional jury, eight participants compete for the title of Barista Champion of Northern Netherlands, eternal glory, and THE piston.
