A unique party that starts even before the New Year's Eve festivities erupt elsewhere at midnight. You don't have to dodge fireworks and exploding astronauts this year, because at DOT you can already enjoy the tastiest dishes, delicious cocktails, DJs, and a genuine New Year's Eve comedy show starting at 8:00 PM.

Comedian and Student & Stad council member Arjen Banach will perform his New Year's Eve show ‘Dit is pas het begin’ at 9:30 PM in the DOT theater hall, looking back at the events that expertly disrupted 2016, both globally and in Groningen.
Naturally, we are all counting down to 2017, and DJs Sebastian Davidson, Oortje, Danny Da Costa, Bojan Aleksander, and RocknRolla Soundsystem will be spinning the best uptown funk, nu-disco, and classics all evening, gradually building up to the hottest club hits of today. There will also be a performance by Tariq Pijning, the Groningen-based saxophonist who is currently conquering the world together with DJ Sam Feldt.
