EM2 opened its doors in January on the former Suikerunie site and is a meeting place where there is room for initiative and experimentation. Where Groningen residents have a say in decision-making and are part of the programming. A place that feels like a holiday. In addition to the cultural aspect, the location offers an ideal venue for private parties and events. Thanks to a modular system, EM2 is a unique venue in the North, featuring a hall with a capacity of up to 800 people. The interior utilizes recycled materials with an industrial and ‘rock ’n roll’ touch.

The first concert is scheduled for December 6. The Dutch band DeWolff. DeWolff has supported The Black Keys and Deep Purple and played at festivals such as Pinkpop Festival, Lowlands Festival, ESNS, and Sziget Festival Netherlands.
In December, the band returns to Groningen. After a sold-out show at De Oosterpoort in May of this year, the gentlemen from the south will hold their reprise at 'the Barn' EM2 on the Suikerunie site.
