Monday, October 6, is the day: Groningen’s best bartenders will battle it out to pour the city’s finest beer. During the Tapping Competition in the Martinikerk, bartenders from various hospitality establishments will compete for the title of ‘Best Tapper of Groningen’.
Put your café, nightclub, or restaurant on the map with the best-tapped beer! In addition to eternal glory and the golden spatula, the three best beer tapsters will receive a number of great prizes. Furthermore, the first x number of finalists (depending on the number of participants) will have the honor of defending Groningen during the district final in November 2014!

The Tap Competition is a day where the beer (naturally) flows freely and where hospitality workers from all over the city come together. So, if you don't want to participate but do want to cheer? Spectators are more than welcome!

On Monday, October 6, 2014, between 12:00 and 12:30, there is still an opportunity to register your participants. (limited spaces available)
