DJs Dennis van der Geest and Danny da Costa have joined forces and, following a successful studio session, are releasing an innovative deep house track that will be released on the German label ‘HouseSession’. The track is also the anthem of St. Tropez Beach House, which will take place on May 30 in Cape Horn Pavilion in Haren.
Multiple world champion Dennis van der Geest focused entirely on a career as a DJ after ending his judo career in May 2009. His style is best described as a mix of disco, funk, and house. Danny da Costa has been working hard as a producer and DJ for years. His releases regularly feature at the world's most famous festivals, such as Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, and Lowlands.
Quintino and Nicky Romero have also noticed the talent of the Groningen DJ and producer and regularly play his tracks and bootlegs in their shows on Sensation and America’s largest dance station, SiriusXM, among others.
The track ‘Take this higher’ is the result of a collaboration between Van der Geest and Da Costa. The still young but already very experienced saxophonist Tariq Pijning from Winschoten can also be heard on the track. The song is featured on the Ibiza Sampler Mix, which is now available for purchase on Beatport. This CD includes tracks by seasoned names from the house scene such as Ron Carrol, Robbie Rivera, Alex Kenji, Tune Brothers, and Federico Scavo.
The single release will follow later this summer.
