Last Monday, May 9, various entrepreneurs and chefs gathered in front of the Images/Groninger Forum cinema in Groningen for the preview of the film. Noma, my perfect storm to view. The initiative for this connecting evening lies with Bos&Bos Catering and is made possible in part by partner DeliXL.
The film is a documentary about René Redzepi, chef of the ‘Best Restaurant in the World 2014’, the Danish Noma. The restaurant has received the title four times, which has had various influences on the establishment, its success, and its chef. Via Noma, my perfect storm the viewer gets a unique glimpse into the kitchen of the world-famous restaurant in Copenhagen.
Impressive
Renske Bos opens the premiere with a short talk, after which guests can enjoy the film while savoring luxury snacks and a glass of wine. “This documentary was a lot milder,” referring to the previous edition of this event. Last year, a somewhat more risqué documentary was screened. Sergio Herman: Fucking perfect, but nevertheless, the film about Noma was no less impressive; a great inspiration for many entrepreneurs and chefs. The idea is to organize these kinds of premiere evenings annually—depending on the availability of documentaries.

Invitations to the match lay on the chairs. Klaar Af Kook. Remko Fuchs from DeliXL clarifies that the cooking competition on October 3, 2016 (Hospitality Fair Northern Netherlandsis a great challenge for chefs to test their knowledge and skills and to gain experience and inspiration.
Nice and easy
The idea behind this evening was to bring together people with the same passion, to let them meet, and to connect. Bos chose the hospitality industry's day off (Monday), so the guests needed to be able to enjoy themselves without making things too complicated. “Just cozy, nice and easy! We don't expect anyone in a suit; it is your day off, after all,” said the owner of the catering company. “It is nice to be able to offer a fancy snack, but after the movie, it’s also just beer and bitterballen.” And everyone loves that too. Renske Bos is receiving lavish thanks from all sides.
