At one of the busiest points in the city is the garden terrace of The Feith House The place to take a break from all that hustle and bustle. A little further on, at the Grote Markt, the terraces are mainly meant for seeing and being seen; that is not necessary here.
The 150 seats in total are situated both in the shadow of the Martinikerk and on wooden platforms. Many of the metal tables with round wooden tops display a ‘reserved’ sign. This is indeed an excellent and popular restaurant. And an important plus: the tables are spaced far apart, so neighbors do not have to overhear every conversation word for word. The staff are extremely friendly. On our way to the restroom and back, we are warmly greeted by every employee we pass.
Vacant tables are immediately cleaned and prepared for the next guests. The Feith House With this ranking (97), it is also immediately the highest-ranked terrace in Groningen. There aren't many Groningen terraces on the list this year, but with this establishment, the province has a worthy number 1.
