Water is naturally important in the hospitality industry, but water is becoming scarce. Dutch innovations offering water-saving solutions, such as the AquaFox system, can also be found in the hospitality sector.
With this system, the water tap at the sink can be turned off, and the correct amount of water is automatically dispensed. AquaFox Nederland B.V. states that a hospitality entrepreneur saves an average of 20,000 liters of drinking water per month by using this device. With over 4,000 users in the Netherlands, more than 10 billion liters of water have been saved over the past 12 years, enough to fill the Johan Cruijff ArenA to the brim more than three times.
AquaFox Netherlands is one of the companies that offers a sustainable solution for the hospitality industry and will be present at the HorecavaHorecava is an innovative and inspiring trade fair for hospitality professionals in the foodservice industry. In 2020, Horecava celebrates its 64th anniversary and will be held from January 13 to 17 at the RAI Amsterdam.
