On March 31, the Cabinet extended the measures against the coronavirus for the hospitality sector until at least April 28. In addition, the options for applying for reduced working hours have been converted to the temporary emergency measure for bridging employment (NOW), which is expected to be open to entrepreneurs on April 6.
Support packages for the hospitality industry
Numerous breweries, beverage companies, KHN, suppliers, and private individuals have devised initiatives to support the hospitality industry during this time of crisis. These include rent reductions/deferrals, free courses, wage support, benefit quizzes and hospitality voucher campaigns, and assistance with setting up ordering platforms for restaurants and eateries. Naturally, all these support initiatives can be found on our website: horecagroningen.nl, so take advantage of it in times of crisis!

In addition to all actions from the industry itself, the government and banks are also introducing various support measures for entrepreneurs.
Below you will find a handy overview from the Chamber of Commerce with all support options to date.
