Imono is expanding grandly and festively

Last Monday, July 11, Victor Wu, together with his family, opened the new section of his business, Asian Bar and Restaurant Imono. After several months of renovations, acquaintances, friends, and family are welcomed to the new part of the restaurant. The restaurant can now accommodate nearly 200 more guests.

From 5:00 PM, guests begin to trickle in and are welcomed with a glass of mother-of-pearl Prosecco, which gives the drink a golden hue. Around 5:30 PM, all guests are addressed and thanked by the Wu family, and the entrance to the new section is opened. For the day, the bars in the new section have been transformed into a wine and cocktail bar, the wait staff circulates with platters full of sushi, and the guests are entertained by live music and a DJ.

Interior
From the (old) restaurant, one now walks into a large, open space with pink and gold/bronze chairs and benches. There are also a number of round tables with large seating around them for groups. The decorative wall lighting and matching lamps complete the look.
Just around the corner is the new bar from which drinks will be served. The sushi is prepared in the restaurant using the open kitchen.

Separate room
Those walking through the new space to the end will find a separate, lockable room. This is suitable for private parties, drinks receptions, or business meetings. The room features its own bar with access to surprising cocktails and seats approximately 50 people.

Seats
In the introduction to the opening, it was mentioned that in recent years, people arriving at the door to ask if there was still room in the restaurant often had to be turned away. That problem now seems to be over. After the renovation, the new section can accommodate 140 guests (excluding the separate function room).

Imono is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 4:00 PM. View the here Facebook and the website from Asian Bar and Restaurant Imono.
