On Friday, October 7, Noorderpoort is organizing a major musical spectacle on the Grote Markt in Groningen. The line-up includes Douwe Bob, Mr. Polska, and the Noordpool Orchestra, among others.
The musical spectacle on the Grote Markt is part of the 20 Years Noorderpoort anniversary celebration. The ROC does not want its birthday to pass unnoticed and is celebrating the occasion together with students, staff, partners, and everyone in the City and the region.
Noorderpoort has a policy that everyone should be able to study at one of the many programs the ROC offers. "We have been around for twenty years now, and that means we can also throw a party for everyone; everyone is welcome," says student Iris van der Weide.
The party on the Grote Markt starts at 8:30 PM. The organization, as well as the construction of the Mohawk stage, is in the hands of students from the ROC. In addition to Douwe Bob and Mr. Polska, the Noordpool Orkest and DJ StukTV will also be performing. Admission is free.
