After the campaign that the seven candidates will conduct over the next two weeks, the five candidates with the most online votes will give a presentation on election night itself, followed by a question round from the jury. Based on the vote of the audience present and an expert jury, it will become clear at the end of the evening who will be the new Night Mayor of Groningen.

The jury members for this evening are the Mayor of Groningen, Mr. Vreeman, Jan Bas van Aalderen (Horeca Nederland), Joris van Berkel (Horeca Groningen), and rapper Kraantje Pappie.

The election will last from 9 PM to 11 PM. Voting is open until 11:30 PM, after which the jury will deliberate. Around midnight, the new Night Mayor will be announced, and Chris Garrit will hand over his chain of office, provided he is re-elected. After the announcement of the new Night Mayor, you can head straight to the dance floor where Bert Hadders and the Nozems, rapper Mulu, and DJ Posij will perform.
