SChasing just one dream? Entrepreneur Nicolette van Keulen thinks that is very little. That is why, this coming Tuesday, June 12, she is opening Inspiratiecafé OSO; in which she brings together not one but three dreams.
In this coffee bar, you can sample the daily, homemade cakes, and it also serves as a coaching practice. On the menu, alongside treats, you will find exercises to expand your personal worldview, and in this inspiration café, you can participate in workshops. For example, you can work on limiting beliefs yourself and find the answer to the question of what success means to you.
Many people wonder where this combination of dreams comes from… As a little girl, Nicolette already loved baking cakes. Coffee bars are her favorite spots in the city. And coaching is the profession she loves most. When viewed this way, this combination is actually very obvious. Yet, Nicolette didn't immediately come up with this herself. It wasn't until she was inspired by the book ‘The Why Cafe’ by John P. Strelecky that she realized she doesn't have to choose. She can realize all her dreams together.
The establishment will be called Inspiratiecafé OSO, which means ‘home’ in Surinamese and also graphically resembles 050 (the area code for Groningen). The café is located in the heart of Groningen, a city with a large student population and high unemployment rates. This makes it the perfect location to help students, job seekers, and young professionals move towards their dreams, in a homey and approachable atmosphere. At Inspiratiecafé OSO, there are no obligations, as ‘un-meeting’ is a major theme. Do you just want to plop down on the large leather sofa with a good book and a cup of coffee? You are more than welcome then too.
