World of Barista was founded in mid-2012 by Ulas Tarakci, who started his own business after years of experience as a barista and trainer, with the main goal of sharing his passion and multiplying his knowledge.
World of Barista is the starting point for anyone with a passion for coffee who wants to learn more about it. We therefore offer a wide range of workshops and training courses for both companies and individuals.
SCAE BARISTA SKILLS FOUNDATION
SCAE (The Speciality Coffee Association Europe) is a quality coffee organization with a training program and certification for baristas. The SCAE Barista Skills Foundation training is the first step towards becoming a professional barista.
If you pass this exam, you will receive an official barista certificate from the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe and be registered on the SCAE website as a certified barista. The training goes into more detail regarding the science, processes, and coffee brewing methods, while also paying attention to business-oriented costs, work schedules, and guest experience.
