Horecagroningen.nl and the popular student television program STUG are teaming up to find the best bartender in Groningen.
Initiator Joris van Berkel of the website Horecagroningen.nl and Colin Mooijman of the popular student television program STUG say they are pleasantly surprised by the rapid success. “Within two weeks, nearly 2,000 people had already cast their vote for our Facebook page!”.
Bartenders from all over the city can be nominated. “The Nicest Bartender does not have to meet specific criteria but simply has to be the nicest server, tapper, and conversationalist in the city. The voters are in charge and will therefore decide who the nicest is!”
Until September 1, 2012, bartenders from Groningen can be nominated via the special created page or via the e-mail.
The ten bartenders with the most votes will advance to the title of ‘Nicest Bartender of Groningen’. From then on, the candidates can be seen weekly on Eye television and YouTube in the program STUB, that seeks out the bartenders in their natural hospitality habitat.
The presentation of the ‘Nicest Bartender of Groningen’ will take place in November 2012. The winner will take home the honors and win a prize package worth hundreds of euros.
