Two days of Kadepop on three different stages. The 2016 anniversary edition of the Kadepop festival will take place on Saturday, September 24 (2:00 PM – 2:00 AM) and Sunday, September 25 (12:30 PM – 10:30 PM). There are no fewer than three stages this year: the ‘Mainstage’ in the Suikerfabriek, the “Hooghoudt stage” on the outdoor grounds, and the “Kelder”, where DJs will throw an “underground” party.
After bringing in bangers like Jett Rebel & Kensington in previous years, the programmers at Kadepop had to work really hard this year, but they succeeded! The main hall of the Suikerunie and the other stages will be occupied this year by a wide range of artists. From rootsy blues to pounding beats, from cheerful folk to catchy pop. There is something for everyone! Check below what you definitely don't want to miss, because once it’s too late, it’s too late!

What is Kadepop?
Kadepop is an annual pop festival in Groningen. This year, the Kadepop festival is being organized for the 5th time, on September 24 and 25. It marks the conclusion of the lively festival season in the youngest city in the Netherlands. Kadepop's roots lie in the eastern part of the city center. This former harbor area still leaves its mark on Kadepop's unique atmosphere: rugged, urban, and self-made. This year, Kadepop will take place on the grounds of the old Suikerunie. An old sugar beet sieving factory next to the ring road, situated on the waterfront of the Hoendiepskade. Right next to Groningen's city center, this fine piece of industrial heritage will form the backdrop for Kadepop 2016.
