Last Monday, October 1st, the Groningen Hospitality Fair with the integrated vocational competition ‘the tapping competition Groningen region'.
Hospitality trade fair
Various stands from, among others DeliXL, L1NDA, Jos Beeres and many others have managed to promote their products and services in the Martinkerk in a contemporary way.
There was a great deal of interest at the fair in the Hooghoudt distillery stand. The purely Groningen-based spirits distiller granted the fair in the church the premiere of new gins that had fresh flavors and were given a unique number depending on the added flavor.
Tap competition
Mark Slotemaker of Cape Horn Pavilion has won the 2012 beer tapping competition. For the cafe De Toeter At the Spilsluizen, second and third place went to Frank Boelema and Marcito Brouwer.
The first five winners may defend their title at the district final on November 26, 2012 in Nijkerk.
Both events were very successful, and the organization is already busy with preparations for 2013.
