Eethuys De Lind won the Cafeteria Top 100 2016-2017 yesterday. Mieja’s Snelbuffet, the only Groningen-based company in the ranking, is listed at number 63.

Very friendly staff with a small 'but': upselling, such as extra sauce, was missing. The cafeteria is inviting to come in, and once inside, you feel at home as a guest. The area is not large; the interior looks simple, but neat and clean.
Due to the small space, there isn't much room for the cash register. This has been solved in a clever way: the register can be slid aside, allowing access behind the counter. Notable: Mieja’s Snelbuffet presents the fries in a ceramic paper cone. A tip: a more consistently implemented branding would be even more inviting.
