MS Koningsdam sets sail!

The largest and newest ship of the Holland America Line will sail in Europe and the Caribbean with Beukenhorst Koffie and Melitta coffee machines.

Beukenhorst Koffie is an established name in the cruise world. This is confirmed once again as they are also given the opportunity to outfit the newest ship, the MS Koningsdam, of the Holland America Line.

It is always exciting when a new ship joins the Holland America Line fleet. It is even more exciting when the new ship is the first in an entirely new class of vessels. When the ms Koningsdam sets sail in February 2016, she will not only be the first under this name, but she will take the lead in a new era of Pinnacle-class cruising.

Her name sets the tone. This name stems from a combination of something temporary and something classic, just like the ship itself. ‘Koning’ is a tribute to King Willem-Alexander, the first Dutch king in more than 100 years. ‘Dam’ has been added to Holland America Line ships in keeping with tradition, a practice that began in 1883.
