After a successful first edition in 2014, the fifth edition of the ‘MultiCulinair Food Festival’ will take place in Groningen on Saturday 19, Sunday 20, and Monday 21 May 2018. Multiculinair was the first festival to bring food trucks to the North and is celebrating a special anniversary edition this year.
During the Whitsun weekend, you can enjoy an unprecedented culinary spectacle for young and old, where a wide selection of food trucks and street food chefs will present their cuisine. The cozy Bernoulliplein will be transformed into a pleasant and accessible open-air restaurant with food, drinks, live music, and a children's program.
The MultiCulinair Food Festival is the premier culinary and cultural food festival of Groningen and the surrounding area, aiming to offer food lovers an accessible way to taste just how rich and diverse Dutch culture is in the culinary field. Visitors can enjoy a variety of surprising dishes from all over the world at reasonable prices. Greek, Indian, South African, Mexican, and Armenian are just a small selection of the cuisines on display.
Enjoy a good glass of wine while the DJs and bands create a lively atmosphere. For the youngest visitors to the event, fun and educational workshops are held every day, and of course, there is a bouncy castle. The festival takes place at Bernoulliplein in Groningen and is free to attend every day.
