Owner Anne Steenbergen, partner Benjamin Kappers, and the team are currently hard at work preparing for the opening of their new diner café, Plezant. As soon as COVID-19 restrictions for the hospitality industry allow, Plezant will open its doors in the Professorenbuurt in the city of Groningen.
“We have enormous faith in this location and the beautiful neighborhood we are situated in; even during this time of the corona pandemic, we are certain that we have a great future ahead of us,” says owner Anne Steenbergen.
Dinercafé Plezant is, as the name suggests, informal, pleasant, and enjoyable. In a homey setting with many natural elements and a fantastic terrace right outside, guests can come for a good glass of wine, a tasty beer, and a meal with the whole family, or simply to enjoy each other's company. From attractively priced main courses to a multi-course dinner "from the chef," Plezant is for everyone; accessibility comes first!
In the diverse and active Professors' Quarter, there is a need for a cozy location for a bite to eat and a drink. Plezant responds to this need with the following philosophy: Plezant: your home away from home. Situated on Diephuisplein, centrally located and with a green park right on its doorstep, Plezant will become a wonderful meeting place and add value to the neighborhood. A dinner café with allure that will certainly be worth cycling a little out of your way for!
You can find diner café Plezant at Diephuisstraat no. 6, 9714 GW Groningen. More info: www.plezantgroningen.nl
