Acting Night Mayor Chris Garrit has announced that the Groningen New Year's Eve party will definitely go ahead in Huize Maas.
The organizing working group New Year's Party Groningen initially decided to cancel the party. This was after the municipality announced it would not provide support for the New Year's reception.
In November, however, the working group decided to proceed after all.
The ‘celebration for city and surrounding area’ takes place on Friday, January 1 (start: 7:00 PM) at Huize Maas in Groningen.
