Groningen is well on its way to becoming a major beer city. And as a self-respecting beer city, an Oktoberfest is naturally part of the experience! Not watered-down beer, but quality beer, provided by no fewer than 5 brewers from our own city.
All beers being served are from local brewers and organic “beer delicacies” such as sausage will be served. The old Silo Hall of the EMG It will be set up as a beer garden where all brewers have their own tap. In addition, there will be a very culturally enriching program featuring, among other things, nail hammering, karaoke, and live music from De Hunekop, among others. A great opportunity to get acquainted with beer from your own region.

+ + + Brewery De Kromme Jat. For a long time, Groningen had no breweries of its own, but that changed in 2011. Brewed less than 300 meters from the EMG, using water from the sandy soils of the Hondsrug and grains from the Hogeland.
+ + + Bax Beer, The boys from Bax, Who doesn't know them? They have managed to conquer the Groningen beer scene at a rapid pace with a diverse and innovative range and are an inspiration and a challenge for many aspiring brewers.
+ + + Craft Brewery Groninger, The distinctive wolf's head is popping up more and more often in the refrigerators of many a hospitality establishment. The enthusiastic and driven Crew is working hard to get the rest of the Netherlands gorging on their beer.
+ + + Rockin Ludina is a micro home brewery on the ship Ludina, where the test brews are made. Recently, they brewed the anniversary beer for Dizcartes. Additionally, the First Mate (brown ale) and the Weizenbock are the beers they bring along.
+ + + Martinus Brewery, The youngest brewer of the group making his debut at this Fest. It doesn't get any fresher!

// About De Hûnekop
De Hûnekop (the dog's head) is a four-man formation consisting of: Rik - double bass, Bart - drums, Jeroen - electric guitar, and Emiel - vocals + acoustic guitar. Influences range from country and rock a billy to punk and rock. Acts such as Hank Williams (3 generations), Tiger Army, The Misfits, and Roky Ericsson.
