Step into the shop of Biljartfabriek Bierling – de Schepper and the past meets you. Old photos, posters, and tools stand alongside antique ledgers, atmospheric billiard figures, and a classic cash register, providing a glimpse into the history of nearly 130 years of Bierling – de Schepper.
But there is also room for the present day, for trendy dotted billiard balls, modern cues, and contemporary billiard books. Behind the shop are the actual billiard factory and the in-house sawmill. Here you can see the romance of the craft and imagine yourself back at the beginning of the last century. For not much has changed in the way billiards are made. From generation to generation, the trade secrets have been passed down and preserved. Wood, slate, cloth, and rubber were and are the ingredients of the billiard. Billiards come in many models, with various types of wood and in all sizes. Custom work from A to Z.
Open days
From October 31st to November 2nd, you can visit our factory in Leek. Here, you can take a look around between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM and also receive a guided tour of our billiard factory.
On November 1st and 2nd, you can also visit Landgoed Nienoord, where Raymond Ceulemans will give various demonstrations and explanations regarding cueing. Mr. Ceulemans will be present at Café Borg Nienoord, Nienoord 1 / 9351 AC Leek, on November 1st between 14:00 and 18:00, and on November 2nd from 10:00 to 14:00.
