HIneke de Boer is very proud and pleased to announce that Roald Reitsema has taken over s’Amuse Cateraar as of May 1, 2019.
Ineke and Roald have been working closely together for over 13 years and therefore have every confidence that the company “s’Amusewaardig” will be continued and further expanded. For Ineke, “s’Amusewaardig” means that the entire team works with great attention to the guest, detail, taste, and style.
For the first few years, she will certainly remain involved partly “on the floor” and partly in an advisory role with the company that started 30 years ago at Pottebakkersrijge 8 as Traiteur Service.
We have grown steadily since 2007. In 2007, we became the owner of Café de Sleutel, the BuitenSociëteit Paterswolde was added in 2009 and the Coendersborg in 2014.
De Sleutel continues under Ineke, Roald takes over s’Amuse Cateraar, the BuitenSociëteit and the Coendersborg. Much has changed, and yet nothing has changed, in all those wonderful years…. Quality first and foremost, in the broadest sense of the word.
In 2005, Roald returned to Groningen, after having gained extensive experience at fine companies in Amersfoort, The Hague, and Amsterdam.
“Coincidence does not exist” – Ineke and Roald met again after years, and in April 2006, the first chapter of s’Amuse began for him.
“What would you do if it were your own company?” For Ineke, this is a standard phrase whenever a decision needs to be made. Those words of Ineke are now becoming reality. The fact that he has been given the opportunity to take over s’Amuse evokes a sense of pride and gratitude in him.
Roald is starting this new chapter with great enthusiasm and energy. Together with the team, in whom he has great confidence, combined with our beautiful locations the Coendersborg and the BuitenSociëteit Paterswoldsemeer, and our extensive experience as a Traiteur Caterer, he is taking on the challenge of continuing the quality that s’Amuse has stood for for years.
