Taste, try, and learn at the Groningen Hospitality Fair

The time has come on October 7, 2013! That is when the second edition of the Groninger Horecabeurs will take place in the Martinikerk in Groningen. The fair is dedicated to diversity and innovation: under the motto “taste, try, and learn,” more than 30 exhibitors will introduce visitors to the latest products and services for the hospitality industry.

Diverse program
Visitors to the fair will not get bored easily: In addition to the already successful beer tapping competition, the North Netherlands Barista Championships are now also taking place during the fair.
Those who prefer to get hands-on can join a free barista workshop led by an SCAE Authorised Barista Trainer & Certifier. Prefer something stronger? Then visit Mofongo’s distillery for a cocktail shaking demo.

Presentation of the Groningen Pub Guide
The highlight of the afternoon will be the book presentation of the new Kroegenboek Groningen. This is a special book about the city's pubs and eateries, in which well-known and lesser-known Dutch people share their experiences in Groningen's pub life. The first copy of the book will be presented to Alderman Joost van Keulen. The book will be available for purchase for the first time immediately after the presentation.
