After the people of Groningen voted en masse for what they considered the best sushi in Groningen, it was up to the three judges on Monday evening to determine which of the two finalists makes the best sushi in Groningen.
The Best Sushi Groningen 2015 is a production and collaboration of Horecagroningen.nl, Sikkom and EYE Television.
The jury, consisting of Joost van Keulen (Alderman), Rosa Timmer (DVHN journalist), and Ronald de Bont (entrepreneur – Barbershop Zwarte Raaf), tasted and judged four different sushi dishes from the two finalists: Sushi Mall and Imono.
According to the jury, both sushi restaurants were close in terms of scores, 94 against 100 points. With a difference of six points, it has restaurant Imono the price Best Sushi of Groningen 2015 brought in!
