From now on, the tour boat Neptune at De Rietschans on the Meerweg in Haren. From this new home port, one of the most beautiful tour boats in the North will continue its operations.
Until recently, the boat was owned by Roos Renting from Zuidlaren, but from now on, the tour boat belongs to De Rietschans.
The boat was built in the 1920s at the Berend Ensing shipyard in Groningen, and the superstructure was later added by the well-known Visser family from Paterswolde. Since its construction, the boat has always sailed on Lake Paterswolde.
The “Neptunus” will sail a circuit around Lake Paterswold on Saturdays and Sundays in July and August for individual guests. Guests can board at three locations: the Lighthouse at De Twee Provinciën, the jetty at De Rietschans, and the beach at De Lijte. The final touches are currently being put on the summer schedule, which will be communicated shortly.
Naturally, the boat can also be hired exclusively by companies, groups, and wedding couples wishing to plan an outing on Lake Paterswolde.
