All hotel guests who via booking website Hotels.nl Guests who have stayed at a hotel may write a review about their experiences at the hotel. In 2014, a total of 44,895 reviews were submitted. Guests can give a score on five criteria: value for money, hygiene, service, comfort, and location. On Hotels.nl, the average review score and the pros and cons are listed for each hotel. This can help future guests in their choice when booking a hotel.
Hotel Mozaic in The Hague achieved an average review score of 9.2 in 2014, making it the best hotel in the Netherlands. On January 13, 2015, owner Corina Waaijer proudly accepted the accompanying award. The other hotels in the top 10 will shortly receive their awards from Hotels.nl owner Kees Eldering.

In 2013, Hotel Prinsenhof was the best hotel, followed by Hotel Het Arresthuis. The remaining best hotels of 2014 are newcomers compared to the top 10 of 2013.
