Swingin’ Groningen live and program fully booked

The Swingin’ Groningen website is live. Visitors can view the full program here. Videos, background information, timetables, and photos make the site complete. The festival takes place on June 21, 22, and 23 in the center of Groningen.

On Wednesday, June 20, the festival kicks off with the Swingin’ Groningen Local Pre Round in Café BuckshotStudents from the Prins Claus Conservatorium compete against each other here for the last ticket a day later for The Northern European Jazz Talent Contest on Thursday evening, June 21 in NewsCafé The Club. Jazz talents from 5 European conservatories, including the final finalist from Groningen, compete for the title and a cash prize. True to tradition, there is a broad program on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday evening, which is as follows:

In addition to the afternoon program on Saturday, June 23 at the Waagplein, shoppers can also enjoy Swingin’ Groningen. Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, Swingin’ Groningen will host performances at Boekhandel van der Velde (A-kerkhof and Grote Markt), Schuurman Schoenen (Vismarkt), Muts Fashion (Brugstraat), Dstrezzed (Zwanestraat), and Taveerne Rabenhaupt (Gedempte Zuiderdiep).
