Expertise & innovation at the 4th edition of Horecabeurs Noord Nederland

October 12th is the day! That is when the fourth edition of the Horecabeurs Noord Nederland takes place in the Martinikerk in Groningen. The trade fair focuses on expertise and innovation: under the motto “taste, try, and learn,” over 60 exhibitors introduce visitors to the latest products and services for the hospitality industry.

Diverse program
Visitors to the fair will not get bored easily: In addition to the already successful beer tapping competition the North also find Dutch Barista Championships and the cooking competition Ready to Cook place during the trade fair.
Those who prefer to get hands-on can participate in a free barista workshop led by an SCAE Authorised Barista Trainer & Certifier, Ulas TarakciPrefer something stronger? Then visit Cocktail Plaza & Spirits for presentations led by cocktail masters. Fjalar Gold, David Trampe, Andrew Nicholls, Marco de la Roche, Jorrit van Geel and Lennart Deddens.

Beer Plaza (NEW)
HL Beverage Wholesaler This year, for the first time, the Bier Plaza will be set up with a large collection of specialty beers. In the choir aisle of the Martinikerk, HL Dranken has persuaded a large number of breweries to offer their beers for tasting to the hospitality industry and liquor stores. In addition to many well-known brands, at least 20 new brands will be introduced, including an Abbey beer from Belgium and beers from America. You have the opportunity to get acquainted with all these international beers, as well as a number of beers from Groningen. Our partners will be happy to tell you about their beers. Come and taste.

The preliminary round of the Dutch Beer Tapping Championships for the Northern Netherlands region. Participants can register until 12:30 PM. Around 7:00 PM, it will be announced which finalists will advance to the final of the 2015 Dutch Beer Tapping Championships.
