With 2,215 points, Yoran Boer has been voted the nicest bartender in Groningen. In doing so, he leaves Amede Disbeschl and Miranda Dekker behind.
Yoran has been working behind the bar since he was fifteen. He has been working for the Kokomo on Gelkingestraat for four years.
There was a difference of 330 points between him and the runner-up, Miranda Dekker. “Still, I feel a bit like a winner,” says a visibly emotional Miranda. The Amicitia bar had hired a bus to transport its regular clientele to the final.
It is the first time the prize is being awarded. The organization plans to organize another election next year.
The Nicest Bartender of Groningen is an initiative of STUG tv, HorecaGroningen.nl, Bols Amsterdam, and Jagermeister Netherlands.
