For this edition, bands and acts will perform in thirteen hospitality venues. The stages are located within walking distance in the city center of Groningen.
Three new locations have been included in BTG 2014, namely De Uurwerker, Dog’s Bollocks, and Lola. It is a program for the true blues lover.
For instance, Mike and the Mellotones are playing at Café Koster, St. Louis Slim is returning to Chaplin’s Pub with new band members, Huize Maas has The Juke Joints back on the program by popular demand, and the winners of the Dutch Blues Challenge 2013, Herbie And the Guitarguy, are coming to play at Café Marleen. Furthermore, JEEBEE is playing at Dinercafé Soestdijk/De Groene Draeck, the men of Blues Avenue at Dog’s Bollocks, Blues Heat at Café de Keyzer, and The Tru Tones at De Wolthoorn.
The Boogiemaster Company performs at De Uurwerker, Alto welcomes Mr. Sax & the Giant, Lola has the Veldman Brothers, Buckshot receives a visit from The Twelve Bar Blues Band, and Cats on the Corner play at Café Mulder.
The performances as part of Blues Tour Groningen 2014 start at 21:30 and end at 01:00. Admission is free everywhere.
