For this edition, bands and acts will perform in thirteen hospitality venues. The stages are located within walking distance in the city center of Groningen.
Two new locations have been included in BTG 2015, namely Jazz Café New Orleans and the Martini hotelA first for BTG is driving around bicycle taxis (Yvette) to and from the participating locations.
Program for the true blues lover
The renowned Veldman Brothers are playing at Café Koster, St. Louis Slim is back at Chaplin’s Pub with their definitive lineup, Huize Maas hosts The Juke Joints, who will also be performing tracks from their new CD Heart on Fire! The experienced men of 12 Bar Grooves are coming to Dog’s Bollocks, HI-5 Rhythm & Blues is throwing a party at Café de Keyzer, and the French band Big Dez is showcasing their class at Wolthoorn & Co.
Furthermore, swing band The Boogiemaster Company performs at De Uurwerker; Macbetty can be admired at New Orleans; Alto welcomes the driven Ralph de Jongh; Lola features The Hoochie with musicians Richard Koster and Roelof Meijeringh, well-known in Groningen; Buckshot receives a visit from the young trio Blues Vision from Belgium; the pleasant-sounding Utrecht formation The Captain Morgan Express performs at Café Mulder; and Bucket Heat will musically warm up the venue at the Martini Hotel.
Performances in the context of Blues Tour Groningen 2015 starts at 21:30 and ends at 01:00. Admission is free everywhere.
