With stages in ten hospitality venues, the fourth edition of the Blues Tour Groningen has definitively established its name as a music festival.
Fans and bands from the Netherlands and, for the first time, from abroad (Belgium) have Saturday, February 25 marked in their calendars.
The organizing duo Wim Angerman and Wim Entzinger could not have foreseen that their initiative, which started cautiously in 2009, would become such a success.
“For the first edition, we got five cafes enthusiastic, a year later it was already seven, and now ten. That bodes well for our fifth anniversary next year,” says an enthusiastic Angerman.
The event, which once again takes place on the last Saturday of February in the city center of Groningen, is receiving positive reviews from blues enthusiasts and bands.
