The board, members, and residents have decided to discontinue the Gideon music festival.
After 6 editions, the curtain has fallen. This is despite all efforts to still organize it. “Running increased risks due to more visitors, without a small contribution from the Municipality of Groningen, makes it impossible to organize the event safely but, above all, to a high standard.” The organization looks back on 6 successful editions! As Groningen’s first sustainable music festival with a program determined by the visitors via “crowdsourcing”.
