February 5, 2015 · Team HG

The festival will be organized for the 9th time on Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6, 2015, and will once again take place at the Cleopatra A.S.G. society. Preipop is known for its wide variety of acts, and a broad program is ready again this year. A total of 12 bands will perform across two stages. An intimate atmosphere will be created on one stage, while the other will be a real party. Loud guitars, party music, or a singer-songwriter—nothing is too crazy. On both evenings, there will be an afterparty following the performances, which will continue into the early hours.
The two-day festival kicks off on Thursday with Groningen singer-songwriter Tom Kootstra. Following that, you can dance to the groovy dream pop of Lonely in Harlem, the Pavel Zhulidov Quartet provides instrumental jazz, you can go wild to the indie post-punk of The Anti-D’s, The Highland Sell-outs add a traditional touch with their folk, and The Blind Roofers thoroughly wrap up the party.
On Friday, the José Zwerink Quartet kicks off the evening with lighthearted jazz. Downstairs, The Live Jagged and Menhir blast their alternative and stoner rock into the venue. Upstairs, you can enjoy the chilled indie rock and dream pop of The Sign of Leo and Vikings in Tibet. You can burn off your last reserves of energy with Sunday Zombies & the Brain, who close the festival with a massive show.
Preipop is part of Cleopatra's open days and is free and open to everyone. The festival takes place on Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6 from 8:00 PM at the Cleopatra A.S.G. premises.
