Students from Noorderpoort are organizing the annual showcase festival ImpressFest from June 18 to 21. This year marks the ninth edition of ImpressFest, organized by students from Noorderpoort Art & Multimedia. Over the course of four days, the students will present their best work in the fields of music, theater, games, photography, films, visual arts, and design.
Of all the products developed throughout the school year, students present their very best work during ImpressFest. From theatrical performances to exhibitions, from short films to games, and from applications to a complete concert. The production of the entire event is in the hands of students and teachers from Event Organization and Stage Technology.
The theme of this edition is Freely Adult. The message: students are about to spread their wings and have become quite mature. This means freedom and independence, but also responsibility for your work, finances, voting rights, etc. Throughout the festival, you will see professional work by emerging professionals who are on the eve of their careers.
The students participating in the showcase festival work on their productions throughout the year. Musicians, artists, filmmakers, media designers, and photographers present selected work. The website, application, and promotional material are also designed by the students themselves.
ImpressFest takes place from June 18 to 21 at Noorderpoort Art & Multimedia, Verzetsstrijderslaan 2 in Groningen. Tickets are available via the website of Impressfest.
