On September 3 and 4, 2016, the premier culinary event of the Northern Netherlands, Proeven in Groningen, celebrates its ninth edition! Proeven in Groningen: a proven successful culinary event that offers visitors the opportunity to sample dishes from top restaurants. Every year, more people are drawn to the irresistible aromas of Proeven in Groningen.
The participants from the city and surrounding area gather on the forecourt and central square of the Harmony complex on Oude Kijk in het Jatstraat. With its many different stalls, this intimate square guarantees a cozy, intimate atmosphere. This year, too, it is Wolthoorn & Co Beer bar available: an authentic beer bar where you can sample various specialty beers.
Is the weather not cooperating? No problem, there are plenty of shelter options under the vaults of the Harmoniegebouw, in the tents, and under the numerous parasols.
Proeven in Groningen is open to everyone. No entrance fee! Visitors can purchase tokens for €1.75 each. You can sample as many dishes as you like. The price per dish varies from 1 to 3 tokens.
